The PTDF is actually major parastatal of the Minimistry of Petroleum Resources established by Decree 25 of 1973 for the purposes of development, promotion and implemention of petroleum technology and manpower through research and training of Nigerians
The Fund’s Scholarship will be open between 2nd October, 2013 and 23rd October, 2013 for 2013/2014 and that of 2014/2015 applicants
For 2013/2014:
The website is open to all applicants for the 2013/2014 academic session that experienced difficulties uploading the relevant documents. Meanwhile those who successfully applied and uploaded their documents need not apply again.
For 2014/2015:
The also invite applicants from suitably qualified candidates for Msc and PhD Scholarships. A combined aptitude test will be conducted for both 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 Msc applicants or candidates as well as oral interview for #PhD candidates.
The application form can be accessed online using an ATM card through purchase of a scratch card from designated main branches of First Bank of Nigeria Plc in all states, upon payment of a Non-Refundable sun of N1,000. the instructions on how to access the form online are clearly stated on the backside of the cards.
Requirement For Msc (overseas):
. Minimum of Second Class Upper in oil and gas related course or a second class lower with oil and gas industry experience
. Applicant must have completed his/her NYSC
. applicant should not be more than 30 years
. applicant should be computer literate
