Job Title: National Assembly Correspondent

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates news leads and tips to develop story ideas
• Gathers and verifies factual information regarding articles through interviews, observation and research
• Organizes material and writes articles based on information obtained
• Maintains crucial deadlines in order to provide news stories in a timely fashion
• Uses various social platforms to provide updates and news stories to the public
• Anchors news and radio programs to convey news stories to the public

Qualification and Requirements:

• A first degree or B.sc in any field
• At least 3-5 years experience in a closely related field
• The right candidate must have strong organizational skills, 
• Robust writing and editing skills and the capacity to deliver to deadline while pursuing the business development goals of the organization.
