Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years experience in AIX
• At least 2 years experience in UNIX : Linux, Solaris
• At least 2 years experience in ITIL
• At least 2 years experience in Microsoft Office
• English: Fluent

Preferred

• Master's Degree
• At least 3 years experience in AIX
• At least 3 years experience in UNIX : Linux, Solaris
• At least 3 years experience in ITIL
• At least 3 years experience in Microsoft Office

Job Description

• Highly skilled in Solaris (9 and 10) Linux and AIX administration
• Solaris (9 and 10) Linux and AIX administration
• Establish/Develop standard procedure and policies for the management of all AIX and Unix servers
• Shell Scripting and Server Hardening
• Platform Capacity Utilization Administration.
• Change Management and Platform Optimization.
• Take the lead on Business Systems services projects.
• Liaise with third party support vendors for the support contract execution/implementation.
• Unix , AIX Problem Determination and System Recovery
• implementation of SAN and Clustering solution (IBM, NetApps, CISCO, VERITAS)
• Collate daily and weekly reports
• To ensure the required service availability on all administered servers (99.99%)
• Administer all AIX and Unix based platforms (User and OS administration)
• Implementing hardware architecture for solutions
• AIX/Solaris/Linux performance tuning
• User Administration on Unix (Redhat, AIX, SUN Solaris, SuSE, etc)
• To Implement policies, procedures and standards in accordance with IBM best practice.
