The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent humanitarian organization.The ICRC Abuja Delegation is looking for a qualified candidate with the capacity to work independently to fill in the position below:


JOB TITLE: CARPOOL DISPATCHER

MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Secondary education
- 4 years work experience in similar function
- Excellent knowledge of the geographically assigned environment
- Masters 4/4 and VHF use
- Heavy vehicle Driving license
- Driving license for at least 5 years
- Succeeded in ICRC Driving test
- Basic mechanical skill

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
- Organizes and plans the drivers’ duties
- Help to organization and planning of maintenance of fleet
- Applies ICRC rules in term of use and security of vehicles
- Monitors and updates car use and fuel consumption
- Keeps tracks on all vehicle movements
- Organises private use of car attribution

DESIRED PERSONAL SKILLS:
- Reliable and calm person
- Strongly motivated by humanitarian work
- Flexibility and willingness to work irregular schedules
