Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (an Operation of NNPC/SHELL/TEPN/AGIP Joint Venture) Scholarship Scheme offers a first year students in all Nigeria Universities the opportunity to study with an annual grant from the Shell Petroleum Development company joint venture for the full duration of their course. The purpose of the programme is to promote academic excellence and improve the skills based among young Nigerians.
Those that can Apply:
. Applicants or students must be a citizen of Nigeria
. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a first degree programme at an accredited and approved university in Nigeria
. Applicant or student must have gained admission during the 2012/2013 academic session
Types Scholarship:
. The Scholarship is in two categories:
1) National Merit Awards (NIM)
2) Area of Operation Merit Award, East or West
1) National Merit Award:
. This is open to Nigerians who are not indigenes of the SPDC’s operational areas, like ( Abia, Awkwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and Rivers State)
2) Area of Operation Merit Award:
. This is for Nigerians who are indigenes of the SPDC’s operational area.
