The company has decided to start the search for a Logistics/Trade Finance Officer for its Nigerian operations.

Job Title: Logistics/ Trade Finance Officer
Location: Lagos
Description

  • Ensure proper Import and Export documentation for availing various benefits under different export promotions.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing of import documentations, and the opening of Form M'S.
  • Liaising with banks, inspection agents, freight forwarders, transporters and clients.
  • Tracking of shipments and updating of data.
  • Assigned the tasks of processing shipments of materials and equipment like confirming of delivery as well as liaise with shipping vendors.
  • Handling the responsibilities of receiving goods, processing documentation, storing deliveries at warehouse, tracking as well as distributing materials.
  • Responsible for assisting Logistic professionals with load-out of items being shipped.
  • Responsible for making shipment arrangement as per clients requirements.
  • Assigned the tasks of handling clients complaint and implementing corrective action.
  • Identifying and selecting emergency supplies and equipment according to supply procedures and procurement specifications.
  • Performed any duties related to logistics and supply operations under the instructions of Logistics Manager.

Qualifications and Skills
  • BSc. in Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Good time management
  • Confident communications skills.
  • Required to work 6Days Monday through Saturday, and as required by management.
  • A master's degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of Must have a banking background.
  • Good knowledge of Logistics Operation
  • Good organizational skills.
