In line with the promise to deepen capacity building and encourage
skill acquisition in the Lagos East senatorial district, Senator Gbenga
Ashafa in partnership with the Lagos State technical and Vocational education
Board (LASTVEB) will be conducting a 6 month training
programme aimed at preparing participant for a lifelong learning and
participation in the skilled workforce.
This in turn facilitates poverty elevation and integrates the youth into the labor market with competitive technical skills
Trainees
Courses offered are as follows:
• Plumbing and Pipe Fitting
• Painting and Decoration Works
• Carpentry
• Block Laying and concreting
• Electrical Installation works & maintenance
Requirements
Applicants must be residents of Lagos East Senatorial District. This comprises (lkorodu, Epe, Shomolu, Kosofe and Ibeju Lekki)
Academic qualification:
B.Sc/HND and Secondary schoolleavers with very good WAEC/Neco results may be considered.
