Responsibilities
- The State Project Coordinator (SPC) is responsible for the coordination of Project activities as well as managing the State Fadama Coordination Office (SFCO).
- Overall implementation of Project within the State.
- Heads the secretariat of the State Fadama Technical Committee (SFTC).
- Supervises and coordinates activities of the Local Fadama Desks.
- Ensures timely reporting and quality of reports to SFTC and the National Fadama Coordinating Office (NECO).
- Supervises staff of SFCO.
- Prepares the SFCO Annual Work Plan & Budget (AWP&B)
- Liaises with other relevant programs and technical departments in the State.
- Oversees contracting of supporting staff and consultants, particularly community facilitators.
- Master’s level or higher degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Business Management or other relevant degree.
- Possession of team building, communication, networking and negotiating skills and diplomacy.
- Familiarity with World Bank procedures and processes of work would began advantage.
- Proven track record in the field of agricultural or rural development will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years at the management level.
- Experienced in the management of programmes especially those sponsored by UN agencies.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in computer utilization.
- Proficiency in English and lgbo language.
