SHELL Nigeria (SPDC) Sabbatical Programme for Lecturers in Nigeria 2013/2014

The sabbatical programme offers university lecturers an opportunity to undertake research that would contribute to Shell Exploration & Production Companies in Nigeria (SEPCiN) business, while offering them avenues to acquire industry-related experience. The programme also offers opportunities for lectureship at the Centre of Excellence in Geosciences at the Universiiy of Benin in the following disciplines: Petroleum Geology, Geophysics and Petroleum Engineering. 
Sabbatical Attachment for Senior Lecturers and Above
Duration: 1 year (non-renewable)
Qualifications

  • Selections will be based on proposals that are pertinent to SEPCiN business objectives.
Discipline Areas:
  • Surface/Facilities Engineering,
  • Geomatics (Surveying, Hydrography, Geoinformation managementt Geodesy, Metocean),
  • Architecture, Environment and Sustainable Community Development. 
  • Petroleum Engineering, Production,
  • Well EngineeringGeology/Geophysics,
