Job Title: Executive Producer

Key Duties
  • Work with Management team and Talent to create, develop, produce and write hourly newscasts and news shows.
  • Must be able to line produce shows and work in fast-paced news environments, fast deadlines.
  • Minimum seven years Executive Producer experience in daily broadcasting.
  • Knowledgeable of global politics, business and cultures preferred.

Key Duties

Key Duties

Key Duties

Key Duties
  • Draw up and manage the daily news and weekend diaries in conjunction with News Editor’s assignment, Executive producers and all members of the editorial management team.
  • Liaise with international bureau – compiling diaries and the assignment of stories to correspondents around the world.
  • Attend, and where necessary diary and weekly planning meetings with News Management and the broader newsroom.

Job Title: Senior Producer (Features)
Key Duties
  • To generate, coordinate and oversee production by both in-house teams and external providers.
  • Ensuring commissioned content satisfies Channel editorial, technical and compliance standards and that delivery deadlines are met on budget.
  • Act as liaison/Channel point-person for programme-makers throughout the production schedule, taking the lead in briefing, directing, motivating and managing teams, and steering projects reliably, dependably and deftly to completion.
  • Required to operate from the Channel’s London base, in studio and, as required, in the field.
  • Originate ideas, help identify programming requirements of the Channel, develop relationships with freelance contributors and production companies, and grow a database of international content providers.

  • We’re looking for solid storytelling skills – cleverly-structured programmes incorporating visual flair.

Experience
  • At least 3 years experience in a live TV News gallery situation.
