1.) Consultants/Senior Registrars

Candidates should as appropriate, apply in any of the following areas:

i.) Surgery:

• General surgery
• Urology
• Orthopaedics
• Anaesthesia
• Paediatric surgery
• E.N. T.
• Ophthalmology
• Radiology
• Plastic surgery

ii.) Obstetrics & gynaecology

• Histopathology

vi.) Family medicine

vii.) Public health

viii.) Psychiatry

ix.) Dental surgery (all sub-specialties)

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications, Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, or its equivalent.
• All qualifications must be registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• For the post of senior registrars, candidates must have passed part one fellowship of the above colleges.

Consultant - CONMESS 5 (N2, 786,226.00-. 3,450,355.00 pa)
Senior Registrars - CONMESS 4 (N2, 204,225.00-. 2786,017.00 pa)


2.) Medical Officers/Dental Officers

Qualifications / Experience

• Candidates must possess MBBS or BDS from a recognized institution;
• NYSC discharge certificate and qualification must
• Be registrable with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

Remuneration
Salary Scale: CONMESS 2 (NI, 562,586.00 - 1,945,894.00 pa)

3.) Pharmacy Technicians

Qualifications / Experience

• Candidates must have successfully completed three (3) years training program from a recognized Institution and obtained registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.

Remuneration
CONHESS 06 (N623, 056.00 - 942,219.00 pa.).

4.) Senior Radiographer

Qualifications / Experience

• Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography (B.Rad) from a recognized University or any other qualification registerable with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) plus NYSC discharge certificate.

5.) Dental Therapist

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma in Dental Hygiene from an approved Health Institution and has completed the one year National youth Service Scheme.

11.) Dental Technologist

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess BSC or HND in Dental Technology from a recognized Institution with NYSC discharge certificate.

6.) Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Qualifications / Experience

• Candidates must have successfully completed three (3) years training program from a recognized Institution and obtained registration with the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria

7.) Pharmacists

Qualifications / Experience

• Candidates must possess Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized institution, registrable with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria, and have successfully completed National Youth Service Scheme.

8.) Nursing Officer 1

Qualifications / Experience

• A candidate must possess RN plus post basic diploma in any of the following specialty and possess current practicing license.
• ICU, Pen-operative, Accident & Emergency, ENT, Ophthalmology, Poediatric,, Dental, Orthopaedics, Bones and Plastic, Anaesthesia, Dialysis, Psychiatry and Midwifery.

CONHESS 8 (N1, 113,650.00 - 1,650,392.00 p.a.)

9.) Physiotherapist (Female)

Qualifications / Experience

• Candidates must be female and possess Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution, who has registered with the Medical rehabilitation Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria, and has successfully completed National Youth Service Scheme.

10.) Medical Laboratory Scientist I (MLSI)

Qualifications / Experience

• Candidates must possess BMLS or BSC + AMLSCN fully registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

CONHESS 08 (N1, 113,650.00 - 1,650,392.00 pa.)

General Condition of Service
As has been indicated, salaries and other fringe benefits and all other conditions are as applicable in the Federal Civil Service, generally, and in line with the provisions of salary structure and fringe benefits for Medical and Health Workers on contained in the existing circulars.
