Under the direction of the Senior Program Office, the Program Officer will be in-charge of design and lay out of various print and electronic materials for the project.

Duties and Responsibilities
Create design and look of FHI 360 publications. Serve as primary liaison with external graphic designers on larger projects, soliciting bids, negotiating contracts and shepherding these publications through the outside design process. Perform other duties as assigned. Lay out Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo versions of FHI 360 publications. Work collaboratively with the in-house originators of the work ensuring that all designs are appropriate for the publication. Design materials to support other work as needed. These might include report covers, order forms, announcements and invitations to special events. Design and format CD-ROMs that will package FHI 360 material for wide distribution. The Marine Cargo Operator is the first and primary contact for visiting export tankers as well as other ships coming to the production field. The incumbent of this position will be primarily engaged in the loading of crude oil from the FPSO tanks to the export tanker.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
•Traffic monitoring within the Terminal Exclusion Zone using Radar / ARPA and executing Radar Safety Plans
•Receive and record daily cargo inventory, check and log the stability and ship stress and take corrective measures to ensure that they remain within permissible range
•Assist with gathering and analyzing machinery performance data to achieve cost effective maintenance and high equipment integrity and reliabilitythrough interface with the Maintenance group.
•Execute the tanker loading plan
•Serve as Port Facility Security Officer for the FPSO
•Operate Inert Gas and Cargo Pump Hydraulic Systems
•Assist with preparation of cargo tank for inspection, repairs and maintenance

REQUIREMENTS OF CANDIDATE

On completion of the online application, candidates are to download Acknowledgement Form. Must not be less than 1.68 meters (male) and 1.50 meters (female) tall. Five (5) Credits at not more than 2 sittings.  At least one supporting relevant credit to the compulsory credits. Only examination results issued after 2007 will be accepted. Must be medically and physically fit and must be of good moral character. Description
This position provides technical direction to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations of FHI 360 supported facilities with particular emphasis on facility and equipment upgrades and maintenance, equipment calibration, utility maintenance, utility operation, maintenance plans. Provides capacity building to government at all tiers and to health facility management in all aspects related to facility infrastructure development and maintenance including equipments. Supports development of sustainable strategies including use of renewable energy and their implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides technical leadership and technical support related to equipment maintenance at facility level Provides leadership, coordinates the activities and supervises facility maintenance engineers with particular emphasis on preventive maintenance Develops relevant standard operating procedures for the operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities Plans, directs and evaluates maintenance, constructions, renovations, repairs of equipment and systems for FHI 360 supported facilities Coordinates the design, planning and implementation of manpower development for state facilities maintenance engineers operating within the framework of SIDHAS Develops quality and efficiency improvements for new and existing products / services / processes Develops and implements the safety management plans and programs for FHI 360 supported facilities Analyzes workload including traffic and utilization trends to foresee and planMinimum Academic Qualification and Experience BSc or HND in Mechanical/Civil engineering with minimum of 7-9 years working experience in facilities operation management; The candidate should also have 5-7 years relevant experience in international development programs and 3-5 years of supervisory experience. Thorough knowledge of preventive maintenance, calibration, equipment operations and troubleshooting methodology Must have experience in using computerized maintenance management systems Experience in hospital facility operations is an advantage.Application Deadline

Position Responsibilities:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Director Finance & Administration, the AD Administration will ensure the smooth operation of the organization’s: facilities, inventory, fleet and travel management, through developing, implementing and evaluating maintenance and improvement programs as they relate to the continuous operation of the organization’s transport fleet, facilities and buildings. He/she will be responsible for effective utilization of resources including staff with diverse range of capabilities. Plan, organize and oversee the multi-functional provisions of logistical and administrative support to FHI 360 Nigeria. Develop and ensure the implementation of programs that will provide efficient usage of the organization’s fleet and facilities, as well as developing fleet administration standards and vehicle operating policies and procedures. Prepare and present informational reports regarding operating costs, operational effectiveness and service levels of contractors. Periodic management reports on operating costs with regards to facilities maintenance, travels, fleet management and related office utilities.        Direct fleet-related risk management trainings, such as safety and accident prevention programs and act as a liaison for the office general security/emergency procedures in consultation with other similar international NGOs and other relevant security agencies.             Assign and verify completion of all repairs, replacement, renovation projects of FHI facilities and equipment and ensure quality of work.      Ensure the maintenance and tracking of inventory/stock of Abuja and Zonal offices and other facilitiesMinimum Requirements:
BSc/BA in Business Administration, Engineering, Estate Management or related field and a minimum of 9 years relevant experience with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in operations, maintenance, and/or administration of facilities/fleet management OR MS/MA in Business Administration, Engineering, Estate Management or related field and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in operations, maintenance, and/or administration of facilities/fleet management. Other relevant professional/management certifications, familiarity with donor-funded procurement rules and regulations (particularly experience with USAID procurement regulations) would be an advantage. Proven proactive skills in identifying cost savings, cost avoidance and efficiency opportunities. Technical understanding of office equipment and building construction and maintenance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to manage tight deadlines and deliver high volumes of work with minimal or no supervision. Job Description
Africa is the largest cassava producing area in the world. About 93% of cassava is consumed as food, in contrast to Latin America and Asia where less than half is utilized for food consumption.  Nigeria also imports more than 60,000 mt of starch for industrial purposes (equivalent to 300,000 mt of cassava roots) and more than 150,000 mt of starch derivatives (equivalent to 750,000 mt of cassava roots) such as sugars (high fructose syrup) for the soft drink industry. DADTCO’s state-of-the-art technology has been developed and piloted in Nigeria and has proven that a paradigm shift can be introduced for the cassava value chain and that high quality

cassava flour (HQCF) can be produced at a competitive price.
The main duties of the Chief of Party - Cassava+ will be overall project planning, implementation and management and maintain close working relationships with the private sector partner, DADTCO. The Chief of Party - Cassava+ must ensure the smooth functioning and coordination of all project functions: program development and implementation, provide technical guidance and management to the field teams, project finances and administration, outreach and reporting, monitoring and evaluation. The Chief of Party - Cassava+, in close collaboration with the project teams, consultants and DADTCO staff, will seek to ensure the technical quality and appropriateness of the technical services provided through the project and the quality of the results generated.  The Chief of Party - Cassava+ will have technical and management responsibility for all project personnel and will be the IFDC representative to the donor, line ministries, multinationals, technical agencies and other participating organizations as required.

Required Experience
